Where are your Abs?

So you have been working out for how long now, sticking strong with your routine and the outcome=still frustrated when you look in the mirror, where are your ABS?

I ask you this: What are you eating?

Burger and fries? You think hey its qualified as a protein source and fries are a vegetable.  And I say you can work out all you want, staying strong and reaching your goals but if you feed your body junk then you might as well kiss your abs goodbye.  How many crunches and other AB work outs have you done and yet your still wondering where are they? I can feel them, I know they are in there.

Sure they are, but if you keep eating fat, processed foods and sugar to name a few, you might as well go sit on the couch and forget it.

Here are some ideas to incorporate into your diet.  All of these are high in protein and fiber which is a must to have in your diet.

Oatmeal
non flavored
I use honey, fruit and cinnamon to do the flavoring for me.  The flavored packs are also flavored with unwanted sugars.

Almonds

Great source of protein and fiber and gives you a great source of the good fat that your body needs. Yes you need fat.  No don't eat the whole bag or can. Watch your portions, these are high in calories

Eggs

The list is endless to what you can add to your eggs.  I personally eat egg whites scrambled with peppers, mushrooms and sometimes low fat cheese.
No don't fry them up in the left over bacon grease in the pan.  You can make an omelet, frittata, scramble or eat them hard boiled.
Absolutely a fantastic source of protein.

Leafy Greens

Lean Protein

Salmon

Fruits and veggies

Why a high fiber diet?  Fiber helps you maintain a healthy digestive system as well as makes you feel full longer, this way your less likely to be snacking right after you eat your meals.
